Read the CNET review: http://cnet.co/2cdNGtM Water resistance, longer battery and a lot more speed. How much do you really want that headphone jack?

well on the positive side, if you have those cases like spigen that for some reason, won't let you to fit in a bigger than usual headphone jack (like shure headphone jack), then with our without headphone jack is no difference because you will need a headphone jack extender either way.

'apple seems to have settled in the current design'. My ass. More like they've run out of ideas.

Wait but we're getting lightning headphones. I get that he's trying to appeal to those who want to use non-Apple earphones, yadayada. But like … he's talking like Apple didn't provide ANY wired solution, that we MUST use some wireless headphones, like the AirPods. But they did give us a solution – LIGHTNING HEADPHONES. I thought this argument was kinda biased and not entirely thought out.

Honestly i think they removed the headphone jack because apple wants to make money with their wireless headphones

screw the dongle, I know I will lose that shit in my pockets or my luggage, its gonna go through the washing machine too.. coulda just left the headphone jack.

Same is true with the stupid air pods. Too small, I will also leave them in pants and they will also go through a spin in the washing machine.. or I will fall asleep with the on and they will fall out of my ear between couch cushions.

Apple not thinking, just trying to cash in on whatever they can market as their own thing.
Lets see what they bring next year

You just used the 3.5 mm adapter to use EarPods when Apple includes Lightning EarPods in the box with every iPhone 7 (which you failed to mention). Otherwise, nice review

actually I rarely use the home button on the 6s and mostly using the 3D touch feature like going to a multitasking part and closing the apps without pressing the home button I only use the home button to unlock my phone, it feels like the home button is useless now with a 3D touch and should be gone, the fingerprint sensor should be embedded inside the iPhone's screen

Getting the 7 plus Matte black on October 12th, coming from the 6.which I am excited about. But I am glad I can upgrade to the 10th anniversary iPhone next year.

I honestly think this whole thing with the headphone jack is overstated. If your iPhone is your main portable music player and you have a favourite pair of headphones just leave the adapter connected to the headphones. What's the big deal!?

Scott Stein made this an amazing cut! He doesn't sound like a news reporter from the days of old. He's way more conversational which makes his entire report sound more genuine and less sterile. I wish cnet would make more clips like this! Definitely a step in a fresh direction.
