Beware of buying a counterfeit Apple charger online. A UK investigation found hundreds of fake chargers dangerous, failing basic safety tests.

    And this is exactly why I only buy directly from Apple or Best Buy. I don't even buy the certified ones because sometimes there is no point. At Best Buy some of the off brand but still certified cables were $17 and the Apple ones where $20 so why go for the off brand?

    dude, my original cables always break or fray, always. im using a 10FT fake now

    well that's what he have to do because apple charges to much for the real thing so we have to buy the cheap and fake stuff

    I don't care about charger (I always buy original) what I care about is cheap cables as they tend to brake too often.
